Bracket goes on back side of the frame.
Mount where the passenger peg is located.

I purchased these for my 78 KZ1000, to replace some aluminum ones a friend made for me. These are much sturdier, look great, and work very well. Great price and shipping, and look GREAT! 1000 with 900 pipes are the bomb!
