Kawasaki Center Stand for Z1R (1978)

This center stand is specifically for the 1978 Kawasaki Z1R. It is exactly like the impossible to find original.

Included in this kit are the special stepped mounting bolts and spring.

The lever portion is much shorter than the normal Z1 type stand as the 1978 Z1R has no left side muffler.

It would also work well on all 1973-1980 Z1, KZ900 and KZ1000 models running after-market 4 into 1 exhausts, that their designs did not require the removal of the center stand in order to fit. This varies between exhaust manufacturers.

Installation is very simple and does not involve any modifications to the motorcycle itself. Once fitted, maintenance will become easier, and parking will be much safer and more secure.
