This rubber damper is located under the license plate at the bottom of the rear fender.

The elongated rubber license plate buffer was one of the 'detail' items which for years was unavailable but sought after by anyone restoring a Kawasaki 900 Z1. Now, Z1 Parts has made this item available once again and it helps greatly in providing one of those 'finishing touch details' which are so important in any good restoration. My 'Thanks' to Z1Parts for this small but important item !
